- "Breaking news in the disputed settlement of Modi'in Illit. An explosion hit a Jewish home on the 700 block of Lem'et Street..." the reporter said. Fatima desperately tried to remember Chofesh's address. She knew that his home was on the same street she was on, Lem'et Street. His address was 712 Lem'et. She turned towards the direction of his house. Then she saw the yellowish tinge of fire, the color thrown up against the other homes. She started running, dodging people walking toward the lights, in between police cars and soldiers with rifles who seemed to keep an eye on her. As she came closer, she finally found the source of the light. 5 white ambulances, with the Star of David painted all over them, sat outside of a sandstone house. Chofesh's house, a small home at the end of the settlement, was surrounded.
